Violence Group (Project Restore)
Project Restore is a group for men who are concerned about their domestic violence. Mental health professionals trained in domestic violence work co-facilitate this group. They partner with participants on building skills and learning to manage anger in a way that promotes a safe environment for families.
Men who have been violent or are concerned about their violent behaviors. Participants are both voluntary and court ordered.
Violence is a learned behavior and over time can be unlearned. Domestic violence impacts the entire family system and broken relationships can be restored.
Men are able to recognize their abusive behaviors, develop and use new non-violent, problem-solving and relationship skills; and to understand and address the damages resulting from domestic violence. Families are safe from violence.
Fees are determined on an ability to pay basis. Additionally, health insurance and medical assistance may be accepted. Transportation assistance is available.
