Parent Education

An educational series, based on the Incredible Years curriculum, for parents of 8-13 year old children. Learning effective techniques such as: building their parenting bank, active listening, effective problem-solving, focusing on fixing the problem, not blaming, and limit setting. Two group formats are available; an 8-week evening series, and another series offered over 2 weekends. Please call for the next starting dates.

Parents of children ages 8 – 13, desiring to enhance their parenting skills.

Pre-adolescence can be challenging at times. Parents can benefit from acquiring knowledge and building new skills to successfully move through this stage.

Parents will increase their parenting skills, learn how to influence their child’s behavior and build positive child / parent relationships.

$50 per family, scholarships are available. Childcare is provided at no charge.
