| What | An educational series, based on the Incredible Years curriculum, for parents of 8-13 year old children. Learning effective techniques such as: building their parenting bank, active listening, effective problem-solving, focusing on fixing the problem, not blaming, and limit setting. Two group formats are available; an 8-week evening series, and another series offered over 2 weekends. Please call for the next starting dates. |
| Who | Parents of children ages 8 – 13, desiring to enhance their parenting skills. |
| Why | Pre-adolescence can be challenging at times. Parents can benefit from acquiring knowledge and building new skills to successfully move through this stage. |
| Outcome | Parents will increase their parenting skills, learn how to influence their child’s behavior and build positive child / parent relationships. |
| Cost | $50 per family, scholarships are available. Childcare is provided at no charge. |
